Things I've learned in Arequipa

- the overnight bus is mean for people at least a foot shorter than either of us. 

- it's a really bad idea to store your sunscreen in the lid of your backpack. Really bad. 

- "dried aborted llama fetus" is not a sentence I ever expected to say (nor take a photo of!)

- 500 year old frozen preserved mummies of Incan sacrifices are the stuff of nightmares. 

- 21 soles for a 6 pack of beer (tall boys!) is a pretty good deal! (Comes out to about $8)

- enjoying those beers from our private rooftop hut overlooking the city is a pretty great way to end the day!
